Meat prices fell today with beef 10 to 23 cents cheaper than a week ago. Steaks 65 to 79 cents per pound, shoulder beef 49 to 59, roasts 69 to 0 cents. Veal lamb and pork also declined with pork roast 45 to 49 cents and legs down. Dealers expect demand to ease in hot weather. supply remains good and the drop is the steepest in months.

Raymond F. Gerber aged 25 of 1306 Bellevue Ave was killed when a 4 000 volt line energized his body at the 1 700 000 dam construction site on the Onondaga Reservation. The 10 cent a ton royalty now funds pensions would rise to 20 cents per ton, estimated to bring in about 100 million dollars annually.
