Morticians oppose plan on funeral director insurance
The New York State Funeral Directors Association, in closing sessions, opposed funeral insurance sold through funeral directors, urging a study of state laws and planning a statewide campaign. Roy T. Merrill led a push to fund education courses in universities, with Syracuse University considered. Leland P. Pulling was elected president, with a slate of officers and a record attendance at the convention at Hotel Onondaga.
