A band of thieves hit a Fayetteville office lot over the weekend, stealing tires and rims valued at about 4000. Plane Hits Wire. Four Die In Kokomo Accident
Four people died when a light plane struck a 132000-volt electric line near Kokomo Indiana yesterday. Pilot Paul Eikenberry 35 apparently was blinded by the sun and failed to see the wires. Victims included Roy Biddie 30 a Kokomo factory worker and Mr and Mrs Gwen Williams both 41 and 36 of Kokomo with seven children. The plane hung 70 feet above ground on the lines for a moment before crashing and burning in 30 seconds. The outage was not reported.
