Explosion at Cirles Service causes kerosene tanker blast
An explosion at Cirles Service Oil City property near Fa Seler yesterday afternoon set a 4,766 gallon kerosene tanker ablaze. Fire marshal John F. Sloan led the investigation as a strong northeast wind helped keep the fire from tanks. Firemen from Engine Companies 4 and 14 and Track 2 extinguished the blaze with a fog stream while driver William Valerio and employee Donald McCuaig helped fight the fire.
