Syracuse Soap Box Derby Boy Tours New York City
Warren Kocher, an 11 year old from Syracuse, toured New York City as a Shell Oil Co guest and Soap Box Derby contestant. He toured the Queen Mary dock, met Sal Maglie, and dined at the Waldorf Astoria, then rode a charter bus with 16 other Soapies as part of their tour.

Lost Wrist Watch Found Damaged
MES BEN BRODEN of New Haven Conn will recover a $700 platinum wrist watch not in good condition. The watch was reported stolen during Syracuse University commencement exercises at the Coliseum. It was found and turned over to university officials after being crushed, identified by an engraved inscription.
