Bastables mark 50th anniversary in Fayetteville celebration
Dr. Stephen Bastable and Geraldine Howell Bastable marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a May 4 surprise outdoor pig roast at their Janet Drive home in Fayetteville attended by about 150 relatives and friends. The event was hosted by their son S Jeffrey Bastable and Dr Susan Basta ble at 11 Old Dyke Way, with Geraldine’s relatives and Ger aldine’s 92nd birthday also noted. The couple's long-time ties to Syracuse area, wartime meeting in New York City, and Steve’s medical career were mentioned alongside a large family and neighbor turnout. Additional notices include upcoming community dinners and events around Salina and nearby parishes.
