Powelson to Expand Facilities at Powelson Building
Powelson Business Institute announces a 4000 square foot expansion adding classroom and administrative space on the fourth floor of the Powelson Building at 408 Montgomery Street. Effective June 1 the school will occupy five floors with a remodeled student lounge resource center new offices a word processing center and a medical laboratory for a new medical assistant secretarial program. Director Barbara Dalto cites rising demand as enrollment has more than doubled since 1976 with 20 percent growth in 1980 and over 95 percent of Day Division graduates placed in careers.
