A fire damaged the boiler room at Cicero Elementary School on Route 31 but classes continued today. Fire Chief Robert Jacobson said the blaze started around 6 30 a m and was contained to the boiler room with minimal disruption.
Voters may visit Onondaga Central High School during an open house tied to next week’s budget vote. The event runs from 2:30 to 8 p.m. next Wednesday as crews battle a boiler room fire discovered shortly after 6 a.m. Smoke and flames prompted firefighters from Cicero Clay Brewerton South Bay and North Syracuse to respond with foam.
