Jazz Night Drenches Clinton Square crowds in Syracuse
Thousands endured heavy showers at Clinton Square during the OnBank Syracuse Jazz Fest. Headliner Texas Tenor Kirk Whalum led a four hour set after opening acts from Puerto Rico native David Sanchez and New Orleans musician Leroy Jones. Sanchez and band delivered Latin influenced solos as rain delayed the show and Syracuse singer Jacque Tara Washington performed a women in jazz tribute.
