A flow of cool air from Canada ushers Central New York back to typical temps for the week. Sunny skies prevail through Saturday with highs in the mid 70s and near zero rain chances tonight and tomorrow. Winds northwesterly at 10 to 20 mph. Overnight lows mid 50s. Extended outlook shows fair weather Thursday through Saturday with gradual warming into the weekend.
President Yitzhak Navon said he will ask Prime Minister Menachem Begin to form the next Israeli government after meeting leaders from the 10 parties set to be represented in the new parliament. Navon plans to invite Begin in a formal meeting tomorrow morning.
Town Supervisor Manuel Martinez and Water Superintendent Michael Jerome urge Geddes residents to stop sprinkling lawns washing cars and similar uses as Westvale Water District supplies run low. The ban was declared this afternoon to conserve dwindling water.

President Reagan lobbied Capitol Hill to win Senate Republican backing for a 25 percent across the board personal income tax cut over 33 months. While the Senate Finance Committee supports it, House Democrats favor a smaller 15 percent cut over 21 months aimed at middle income earners. Reagan seeks passage before August recess to set an Oct 1 effective date.
