Beirut four story ruin collapses during demolition

A four story building in Beirut, damaged by a bomb a year earlier, collapsed as French peacekeeping troops prepared to demolish it. Five Lebanese workers and a French soldier were killed, with five others rescued alive. Residents estimated up to six soldiers and eight workers were inside.
