Test pilot Jeana Yeager, famed for the Voyager around the world flight in 1966, narrowly escaped injury when an experimental plane she co piloted caught fire and crashed during an emergency landing near Jackpot, Nevada. Co pilot Shirt and K Dickey, 48, walked away unharmed after a dead stick landing four miles from the airport.
