Shooting victim stable man and woman jailed in city
A 43 year old man from South Side was listed in stable condition at State University Hospital after a neck wound from a .25 caliber pistol. Florence L. Burke, 52, of 316 Hudson Street, was remanded to the Public Safety Building Jail after arraignment on first degree assault and second degree gun possession charges. Bail set at 500 dollars. hearing scheduled for February 20. The incident occurred at 9:15 p.m. in Burke’s apartment. Eastern Ambulance took the injured man to the hospital.

Cop Cars Smashed During Drug Bust at Mulberry Square
Syracuse police during a raid at Mulberry Square Apartments on South State Street had three patrol cars damaged by concrete thrown through windows.
