Man Dies in Maple Villa Fire in Pulaski

Gary Wilson, 19, died early today as fire destroyed a two story house at 7503 Maple Ve. Firefighters from Pulaski and nearby towns battled five hours to bring the blaze under control. Wilson was found in a rear upstairs bedroom and likely died by asphyxiation. origin appeared to be near the downstairs kitchen. The home, owned by Fred Van Patten, was a total loss with about 100 volunteers assisting.
