A fire at the former Gettysburg Hotel, now the Lincoln Square Building, sent flames 100 feet into the sky and injured 24 people including one volunteer firefighter. About 50 residents and shoppers were evacuated as firefighters from surrounding areas battled the blaze in subfreezing weather.
