Man Charged After Dragging Body Five to Seven Miles
DEPEW AP A Buffalo man Thomas Foust 21 was killed when his body was dragged five to seven miles beneath the car of Robert Woods 48 of Depew. Witnesses saw the body under the rear axle on an expressway and followed Woods to a home where police were alerted. Woods said he believed he had a flat tire and drove on. He was arraigned with bail set at 10000. An autopsy was planned by the Erie County medical examiner.

New York AP report: 22 year old U S Navy seaman visiting New York City is dragged into a doorway in Brooklyn and shot to death during an apparent robbery attempt. Police identify the victim as Michael Poulson of Lewiston New York.
