A lone gunman entered a Vallejo McDonald’s at 9:20 PM and shot three female workers. One 17 year old was airlifted in critical condition, another 21 year old sustained head, arm and leg wounds and is stable, the third 17 year old has a superficial wound. Police say there was no robbery and the suspect fled.
In Manhattan Justice Beverly Cohen ruled that a Legal Services Corp lawyer cannot be forced to withdraw from a class-action suit representing poor people despite a new federal law barring such lawyers.
