Christmas gifts lost as Durh amville home burns
Mary Hollenbeck watched as her daughter Kathy Relyea's family's one story wood frame house on Schoolheimer Road in Durhamville burned. Firefighters from Oneida, Durhamville and Wampsville battled the 3:55 p.m. blaze, with about 4 hours until stations were released. About $1,500 worth of Christmas gifts, including a television and stereo, were destroyed. no injuries were reported. The home was owned by Mary Chippin and there was no renter's insurance.
