Loverboy drew 16 172 fans at the State Fair Grandstand beating last year’s 15 954 mark and turning the venue into a party as the Canadian band delivered a hour and 40 minute set. Frontman Mike Reno energized the crowd, while Paul Dean’s guitar and the band’s dense metal sound fueled a high energy show despite muddy sound.

Review of New Hercules movie at Bayberry and DeWitt Drive-Ins

Bayberry Cinema and DeWitt Drive-In showcase Hercules with Lou Ferrigno, using camera tricks and effects to depict giant feats. The review ridicules the telegraphed spectacle, dubbing performances weak, visuals cardboard, and narration heavy with Fourth of July fireworks. The child actor earns praise amid mostly flat adult leads and unconvincing tech, while Arianna and Circe fail to rescue the film from dullness.
