Harmon, hospitalized in Buffalo in good condition, suffered facial fractures and multiple cuts and bruises.
Consumer prices rose 0.4 percent in July after a month of falling food costs. For the first seven months of 1983, prices rose 3.2 percent annually, with 12 month gains at 2.4 percent the smallest in 17 years. Gasoline costs rose 0.4 percent and are 2.7 percent lower than a year ago.
