Two killed as hurricane hits Houston area
As the hurricane moved into Harris County Texas floodwaters rose heavy rain swelled the Washburn Tunnel closed and streets flooded. The eye passed near 29.9N 95.4W about 30 miles west of Houston with winds up to 100 mph and higher.
