Witness placing Prue at blaze site tests arson case
A Syracuse County Court jury heard a South Side man claim he saw Officer Edgar Prue speeding away from a burning house last Aug 18 while defense witnesses said Prue was home in Camillus. The trial grew with testimony from neighbors and family about Prue presence at the scene, and the insurer's agent noted coverage below replacement value. The jury will decide on the arson charge as witnesses for both sides concluded their testimony.
