Mrs. Leah M. Seamans 70 died at her Altmar home after a Centerville birth. She belonged to the Women’s Society of Christian Service and Loyal Workers. Survived by husband Don C. Seamans and three sons Robert Woodville Donald Gowganda Ont Guy Copenhagen nine grandchildren two sisters and a brother. Services Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at her home and 1 p.m. at Altmar Methodist Church with Rev Nelson P Ruppert. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 tonight.
Mrs. Bertha L. Cady 82 of Newfield died Saturday at Oak Hill nursing home Ithaca. Survived by husband Lloyd Cady. Services tomorrow at Perkins funeral home Dryden at p.m. with Rev Jack Kissel of Methodist Church officiating. Burial at Willow Glen Cemetery. No calling hours.

Surviving with her husband are a son Donald of Cato a grandson a brother Ira Palmer of Fulton and three sisters Mrs Bessy Gerard Mrs Ethel Frost and Mrs Lola Wells all of Fulton. State police of Pulaski investigate a hit and run on Route 15 in Sandy Creek. A car passed the one driven by Richard Zacholl of 4330 Wetzel Rd Liverpool and sideswiped the Zacholl vehicle. The other vehicle fled the scene, Trooper T EK Craft said.

Effie Hollenbeck 99 of 1028 Boyd Street Watertown died Saturday night at Ryan nursing home. Rites will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Cleveland funeral home with survivors including sons Richard Hollenbeck and daughter Mrs. Margaret Potter, both of Watertown.
