Striker in Bellport threatens Canada job over Reagan order

Buffalo rancher keeps large Ontario County herd growing
Oliver Scott, 30, runs one of the East’s largest buffalo herds with 165 bison south of Rochester. He expects 76 to 130 calf increases and plans to slaughter about 45 this year at a federally inspected facility. Buffalo numbers rose from near extinction to 56,000 60,000 in the United States with steady demand aiding growth. Scott notes buffalo are hardy, require little feed, and can endure winter outside.

Brooklyn landlords face terror charges in eight month campaign
A Brooklyn man Salvatore Latora and his three sons were arrested for terrorizing elderly tenants to force moves and raise rents. Police broke into a meeting where a tenant’s lawyer was threatened with a knife, hammer, and crowbar. Two tenants died and another suffered a fatal heart attack during disputes. The Latoras controlled a Bay Ridge building since January.
