In Chicago last night quizmaster Joe Kelly shot at two men wounding one as they entered his apartment kitchen. Harold C. Fransen, 25, an ex convict paroled to the Army, died from a 38 caliber back wound after fleeing the yard. Kelly, his wife, and their 23-year-old son were in the dark when the intrusion occurred. Fransen had served a burglary sentence and was released from parole after Army discharge in 1945 as a psychoneurotic with $400 monthly compensation.
