A Red Cross benefit dance is planned at the Swarthmore Branch Woman's Club tomorrow night. Soldiers and Home Guards are asked to attend in uniform. Frank Brannan will provide cones and Booth's Battery ice cream at cost. C R Durnall will serve as door-tender. Admission is fifty cents.
The Swarthmore High School 23rd commencement was held in the auditorium on Wednesday evening. Twenty eight students graduated in a large class with music, orations, and diplomas presented by Albert Ainsworth, president of the Board of School Directors.
