At the March 6 1946 annual meeting in Shire Hall Sunshine the club elected Jack Downing President and J H Adams Senior Vice President. Eric Huxtable appointed coach of the Sunshine District Football Club as part of a broader roster update and a strong committee structure was named to support youth and football operations.

Sunshine Younger Set elects officers at annual meeting
The fifth Annual Meeting of the Younger Set held last Monday in March elected new officers for the coming year. Balance sheet shows over £850 handled, a £11 loss recorded. New officers include President OD Walker, Vice-Presidents K Johns and L Gooding, Secretary B Teunisaen, Assistant Secretary M Stubbings, Treasurer L Burke, Committee M Mills and others. The first committee meeting is tonight at 8 in the Shire Hall. basketball practice Saturday at 2:15 pm. Beacon magazine on sale via Miss Jean Mills. No general meeting next Monday as syllabus stated.

Our general meeting is set for Tuesday March 19. A picnic is planned for Sunday March 17 with Albion residents meeting at Hyett's corner at 4.45 p.m. sharp.
