J J Petty died in Yuma Arizona after a long illness of consumption. Born February 1 in 1861 in Kanner Lawrence county Winglk he moved from Oregon to Guerneville and then to Lincoln in 1890 where he conducted business. His funeral was held at the Congregational Church with Odd Fellows and M E churchmen in attendance and burial in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
