Lot Sale At Farmersburg Attracts 3000 Buyers
A large crowd attended the Mc Clanahan lot sale in Farmersburg with about 3000 people present. Bidding ran spiritedly and prices ranged from 27.50 to 75 dollars. First buyer Martin Ring won a $5 gold prize, Tor Kendall took $10 in gold for the highest priced lot, and a free lot was awarded to J O Ray after a blind drawing by Nina Heck.
