Edward Maxwell Pioneer and Civil War Veteran Dies

Arm Mashes Hand In Corn Shredder Accident
Shelburne November 10 A corn shredder accident injured Art Weaver who caught his right hand in snapping rollers while removing an ear. The arm was amputated about two inches below the elbow at a nearby home after medical teams dressed the wound. Weaver spoke of the incident noting he stopped the rollers and no blame attached. He is recovering and the community offers sympathy.
