Louis Roberts age eight attends Crawfordsville college and visited Monday evening while Jasper Wolfe from Bridgeport Illinois also stopped by. The senior class plans its fourth meeting at Lon Collins’s home southeast of town Wednesday night with expectations of a good time. Miss Flo Curtner grade nine missed Monday. exams were held Friday with all pupils scoring well. Teachers met Wednesday evening and Miss Glen Hoke of Oaktown visited teacher Claire Willis. Miss Mary Haughton was absent Tuesday and Wednesday due to a friend's marriage in the northern part of the state.

Anniversary Dinner Honors Mr and Mrs Warren Watson
Mr and Mrs Warren Watson hosted a family dinner at their home on Friday October 30 to mark their twenty fifth wedding anniversary. Attending were William Pitser and George Pitser with spouse from Middletown, Miss Ora Pitser of Terre Haute, Mr and Mrs B W Beard, Corwin Philips and spouse of Graysville, and Will Watson with wife and baby of Sullivan. The couple wed October 30 1883 at her parents Turman township home officiated by Rev J H Schamahorn, then M E church Sullivan. They began housekeeping on the farm now owned by Mrs Manwarring, moving in March 1885 to their current farm. They are parents of three sons Wm W born November 20 1884, Charles Emerson born June 8 1888, and George Ray born November 4 1894.
