Masons Prepare New Building Occupancy in Sullivan
The Citizens' Trust Company's new building on Main and Jackson will host Masons on the top floor at an $8,000 cost split by Sullivan Lodge 263 F and A M and Jerusalem Chapter 81 RA M. The 75 by 130 foot structure includes a cut off for Main street store rooms, offices for Sullivan railroad offices, a public hall, and space for Sullivan Union and Indianaplis Southern railroad offices. The third floor will house Sullivan Masonic lodge rooms with a commandery and multiple ante rooms, with completion aimed by November 1st under J Frank Nicholas as superintendent and architect.

The Sullivan class of 1904 held its twenty second commencement at the Methodist church on Thursday evening with sixteen graduates. Edwin Devoe gave the salutatory, Dr. Edwin H. Hughes of DePauw delivered the address on Abraham Lincoln and higher education, praising college men. Gretchen E. Holmes gave the valedictory, the glee club performed and Mrs. Woodson Moss sang, as Supt. McCullough distributed diplomas and spoke of his retirement and support for successor Prof. F.M. Price.
