John G Lloyd 81 of Farmersburg died at his son John Lloyds home this morning of paralysis. He leaves four sons four daughters and 20 grandchildren. A Church of Christ member he was active in the Masons and the G A R. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ Thursday morning with burial in Liberty cemetery.

Pioneer Woman of Fairbanks Dead at 103
Mrs Frances Ann Pittman a pioneer of Fairbanks township died Sunday at her son Riley Ransford’s home. Born April 24 1820 in Kentucky she lived in Fairbanks most of her life and was a longtime member of the Fairbanks Baptist Church. She was married twice first to William Ransford with six children of whom one, William Riley Ransford, survives. She died from blood poisoning after years of health.

The Sullivan County Farmers Institute ended Saturday after a two day meeting. David Graham chosen township chairman and Sam Springer secretary. A committee led by Emory Jennings and others will pursue a short course locally and gauge financial viability. Awards at the corn show included best ten ears white to D. G. Catlin and best bushel white to John M. Thomas, with additional prizes for butter and bread entries.

Doctor H Van Buskirk Dies After Illness in Rocky Ford
Dr H Van Buskirk former Shelburn boy died at his Rocky Ford Colorado home after a brief illness of brain inflammation. Born 1859 Currysville he practiced in Walnut Grove and Arlington before moving to Colorado where he built a banking and cantaloupe business he organized the Farmers and Merchants Bank of Rocky Ford where A J Stewart served as cashier. His wife Oilie Hughes survived and no children. Burial was held in Rocky Ford.

Statewide male enumeration begins January 1 in Indiana
Beginning January 1 the township trustees of Indiana must take an enumeration of all males above the age of 21 years. Forms and instructions for the work have been sent out from the state auditor's office to county auditors for distribution among the trustees. The law requires such an enumeration to be taken every six years. The trustees must make their reports by July 1.

Little Jackey the Station Watch Dog Passes Away
Little Jackey, the Merom Station watch dog belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hoskins, died after a short illness. Dr. Fox, his assistant, and Dr. Boone attended without success. Shep prepared a decorated coffin, and Jackey was laid to rest under the large walnut tree in the yard, a beloved family pet.
