Miner Froze to Death Near Sullivan After Family Fracas
Henry Roe a 35 year old coal miner was found dead in a ditch four miles northeast of Sullivan after an intoxicated dispute with his son Harvel at a roadside, where Roe allegedly threatened the boy. Roe died from cold and exposure after the carriage accident and night in freezing weather.

Four new Rural Routes from Sullivan Post Office will start January 15 1904. Carriers not yet named will be assigned soon and boxes must be placed by the start date.
