Hatfield was returned to Camp Shelby Mississippi yesterday by an officer from a camp he had deserted. Butler and Hatfield both previously served terms in reformatories.

Death of J. M. Griffith at 55 in West Sylvan Dell
J. M. Griffith died Friday morning after an illness brought on by paralysis. He was 55 and lived on West Sylvan Dell street. Funeral services were Sunday at his residence with Rev. S. J. Cross officiating. Burial was at Center Ridge cemetery. He is survived by his widow, daughter Della Griffith, and son William of Terre Haute. He was a son of the late Philip Griffith and longtime employee of the Meisenhelder mill.
