Sullivan county man Henry Ladd elected Bond County treasurer
Henry Ladd of Sullivan County has been elected Bond County treasurer and took office after a surprise presentation of his $50,000 bond. Ladd, 60, a Kentucky native and War veteran, previously lived in Turman township and is connected by marriage to R. K. Houpt and Jim Dodd. He will keep Stella Blizzard as deputy. his bond is the largest ever posted for the office.
