Pleas of Guilty in Bucktown Robbery Case
Jennings Goodman and Estel Roach pleaded guilty Saturday before Judge W F Wood in Jefferson township circuit court for the Bucktown robbery. They received sentences of one to eight years in the state reformatory. Officers recovered part of the stolen goods in Goodman's possession and he confessed. Roach was arrested afterward.

Lacey, Indiana Educator and Republican Leader Dies at 72
Edward P. Lacey died at his Holloway street home after a lingering illness. He was born September 25, 1851 in Boyle County Kentucky and spent years in local schools and public affairs. Survived by his wife Margaret and three daughters, he also had a son in Terre Haute and a late son, Robert, who died in 1908. Burial was at Center Ridge cemetery after a Baptist church service.
