Old Fiddlers Contest Draws Large Crowd at Lyric
The Sullivan Uniform Bank Knights of Pythias event at the Lyric theatre drew a large audience for a night of performances. Stroke Fatal to Aged Turman Woman
Mrs. Esther M. Strain, long-time Turman township resident and widow of Thomas M. Strain, died Tuesday after an acute stroke at her daughter’s home. She died hours after the onset of paralysis and funeral services were set for Mt. Tabor M. E. Church with burial in the church cemetery. She leaves one daughter Mrs. C. E. Two Shelburn Men Sentenced to Farm for Booze Sales
