Auto Crash Near City Leaves Mother and Son Injured
Mrs. John A Hunt and her 14 year old son Carl were seriously hurt when their car fell 15 feet into a water filled ditch just south of the city. Another car containing relatives was en route to visit kin when the driver lost control at a turn. Passersby from Bruceville aided in rescuing the injured before they were taken to the Elwood residence for medical care. The vehicle was badly damaged with the top demolished.

Tragic Crossing Crash Near Farmersburg Claims Three
A north of depot crossing near Farmersburg collision between Hud Taylor of Blackhawk and a northbound traction car killed Elsie Taylor aged six and her two year old brother in Terre Haute hospital twelve hours later. Mrs Taylor injured as car dragged forty feet and struck a telephone pole.
