Tractor Exhibition Draws Large Turnout at Capt Springer Farm
A large crowd estimated at 2500 thronged the Capt Springer farm near New Lebanon for a tractor exhibition. Farmers from across the county and neighboring areas attended as eleven tractors showcased plowing performance over forty acres with depths of seven inches and up to 38.9 acres by the largest machines.

Easter Injured in Crossing Collision Near Shelburn
A Saturday evening crash at Currysville crossing north of Shelburn involved a machine driven by Paris Drake and a touring car driven by John Easter. Both vehicles reversed directions within twenty feet, the Easter car rolled, seven people pinned beneath, Easter suffered two broken ribs and other scrapes, Drake uninjured, all eight occupants survived. Easter was taken home by ambulance.

Boiler explodes during threshing near Little Flock injuring engineer
A boiler on George McDowall's threshing outfit exploded Wednesday afternoon on the Burkholder farm one mile west of Little Flock. Engineer Wm Knowles was burned from face to knees but not seriously hurt. he was preparing to open the fire box door when the boiler released steam and fire. A wagon load of wheat nearby burned and was dumped to save the wagon.
