R C Forster owner of a Sullivan store sues Brown and McPherson of Washington in Daviess County Circuit Court seeking 16000 alleging a contract to swap a farm valued at 25000 for his stock. Forster hired Walter F Wood and Padgett Padgett to represent him after the invoice. The defendants allegedly refused to complete the deal.

Bonds Issued for Gill Township Levee Repair
County council held a special session in the auditor's office and appropriated 34800 for repairing and improving the Gill township levee. Escape Well Planned Jail Break Foiled by Sheriff
