The 35th annual Mann's Grove Sunday school convention will be held Saturday at Mann's Grove west of Graysville. Twenty one Sunday schools have been invited and a large crowd is expected. An address by a prominent minister will open the program followed by music recitations and drills from the schools.

Eugene Moore age 25 the son of farmer William Moore of Vigo county drowned while bathing with friends in the Wabash river at Terre Haute Sunday morning. Supposed cramps hindered his swimming. Spontaneous Fire Destroys Coffman Barn and Stock
A hay storage blaze at C Ed Coffman’s barn, one mile east of town, destroyed the barn and 35 tons of hay late Sunday. Losses exceed five thousand dollars with 2,500 dollars insured. Horses Redette and others perished, carts and harness burned, stock valued at about 1,750 with 1,000 dollars insurance on contents. The fire was spotted by Mrs. Coffman and hampered by hose length.
