Death of Mrs Lorena Coyner at Merom at age 29
Mrs Lorena Coyner wife of Karl Coyner of Merom died last Wednesday after a three week illness. Funeral was held at the residence Thursday afternoon and burial followed at Merom cemetery. She was 29 and survived by her husband and two children.

Bohannon Pleads Guilty and Is Sent to Michigan City
Harry Bohannon formerly of Fairbanks township admitted guilt to horse stealing in a county court. Judge Henderson sentenced him to an indeterminate 2 to 14 year term at the Michigan City penitentiary. Bohannon, 58, blamed drink and hard drugs for his downfall.
