New Trial Granted in Wise Felonious Assault Case
Slim Wise received a new trial in Brooke County Circuit Court after Judge Hervey set aside the March verdict of guilty for felonious assault on William Wilson foreman of the Fort Pitt Bridge Works at Follansbee West Virginia. The judge found a possible material error in the jury charge, and a retrial is expected next month with the state hopeful for conviction.
