Missing cow found dead on hillside above Prospect Avenue
Kenry Hazlett reported a missing black and white cow from Altamont hill. Ned Elliott claimed a carcass, partially skinned, was on Prospect avenue hill. he chased two boys away, took the hide, and planned to sell it. Police investigate the bovine killing.

Fell Dead As She Was Starting for School

She was preparing to start to school when her heart troubled instance caused her to fall. She was about nineteen, beloved by many friends and a favorite teacher.
