The Sterling Chapter of the Future Farmers of America held its first meeting of the school year with 26 members. Reports on the Urbana Illinois state convention were given. Plans included initiating Greenhands Oct 8 and floats for the Fall Festival Parade. Upcoming Soil Conservation Contest near Moline with top school reports advancing to La Crosse Wisconsin.
