GAA Awards Tea honors leaders and high achievers
The 14th Annual GAA Awards Tea was held May 20 at St Pauls Lutheran Church to conclude the 1970 school year. Ruth Cooperrider provided music as teams in volleyball basketball and aerial darts earned first awards. Debbie Proctor Brenda Fisher Rhonda Smith and others received leadership and high honor recognitions while new officers Jan Lawrence and others were installed for next year.

NHS Inducts New Members and Officers at May Meeting
The Paula Lyeut Junior National Honor Society held its first meeting on May 12 to elect officers for the coming year. Keith Benson was named president, Sandy Olens vice-president, Jackie Peron secretary, and Betty Eoison treasurer. Senior girls receiving three awards were honored with gifts, while GAA members presented gifts to advisors Miss Nourhit, Miss Klewin, Mrs. Nune maker, and Miss Strong for their guiding leadership.
