Park District Recreation Center Opens on St Marys Road
Park District Recreation Center on St Marys Road near 4th Avenue and Route 88 has opened offering an Olympic size pool and diving well, a gym space for two high school courts or one college court, plus tennis and handball with small fees and a $2 registration card. May 1 Gym Jam hosts mixed co recreation event at fieldhouse
The STHS GAA sponsored Gym Jam on Friday night May 1 in the fieldhouse opened PE facilities for co rec activities including basketball volleyball table tennis aerial darts and volley tennis with about 105 attendees. The next day May 2 the Eighth Grade Playday drew fifty two girls from Como Coleta Jordan and Halland Junior High Schools to a program of volley tennis screwy levy volleyball relays cageball and basketball followed by a skit by the GAA Executive Board about social and recreational activities.

Roman Bacchanalia At The Latin Club Dinner
Chris Bock hosts the Romana Bacchanalia on April 27 at 6 30 p m in the multi purpose room. Latin club members dressed as gods and goddesses and in togas each brought a dish to pass. The evening featured Roman relics a small pool and low pilow tables recreating an ancient atmosphere with ritual emblems and Thyrsus gear. The year's closing trip is a May 9 excursion to Chicago with自由自由.
