Editorial notes Sterling Township High School seniors of the class of 1968 achieving seventy three students on the third quarter honor roll, more than any other class. It praises the senior cohort for diligence, contrasts with smaller or larger classes, and urges underclassmen to emulate the seniors’ strong work ethic and academic standards.
Script lauds STHS Drama Workshop for The Man Who Came to Dinner and notes improved acting and productions this year. It compares favorably to Rock Island High School visiting performance and urges Sterling students to form a traveling group to showcase talent locally.
The Script staff lists reporters and copyreaders led by Janine Bly and Steve Brown. It is published weekly by Sterling Township High School students at 1608 4th Avenue and is a member of the National Student Press Association.

Also details Linscheid Hart Dixon trip to Washington DC and May honors at the University of Illinois with twelve former Sterl ing students named to the Deans List.
Terry Bock asks the editor why a D Day event exists if students face discipline for clothing. He cites rules from the Student Council and administration, recounting being told to turn his shirt inside out and reports of boys being expelled for wearing wigs, urging clarity via a single system.
