Junior Prom Set For June 4 At Local School
On March 14 the junior class met in the library with President Leone Walker presiding. The Prom date was announced as June 4. Committee chairs were named for decorations, programs, publicity, king and queen, refreshments, and tickets.

District Music Contest Features Sterling Townships Singers

Seniors Plan Florida Trip And No Exams Policy
On Friday March 21 the senior class held a meeting deciding a mid spring vacation for May 5 to May 12 with a trip to Miami flown by TWA. They voted to have no exams this year and plan a Splash Party at South Shore Country Club in Chicago after graduation.

SHS Student TV Poll Ranks Top Programs and Hours
On March 26 SHS conducted a schoolwide TV poll to gauge home ownership, viewing locations, daily hours, and top programs. Sterling Twp lists 338 TV households with Freshmen owning 134 sets, followed by Sophomores 88 Juniors 59 and Seniors 57. Colgate Comedy Hour tops the program line with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis as favored entertainers.
